Bearing Kits for Northstar V8 Engines

Bearing Kits for Cadillac Northstar V8. These kits are standard size and include all main and rod bearings. Clevite main bearings, King rod bearings.

When you're overhauling a Northstar Engine, it's a great idea to replace the bearings especially if the engine has higher mileage or if service intervals have been neglected. On 1993-1999 engines especially, the connecting rod bearings will likely need replacing if the car has over 100,000 miles on it. Most of the time, you are fine with stock replacement bearings and your crankshat will not need to be machined or polished. If there's no scoring or nicks in the crank journals, you will be good to go with new standard size bearings.

Foot note: These bearings are STD/STD - which means they are standard size replacement. If you have had your crankshaft turned by a machine shop and need oversized bearings, please contact us because we can supply those also.
